Political and Economic Research Center

General Overview

The Political and Economic Research Center was formerly a Tax and Welfare Research Center and was established in 2007. Its purpose is to conduct research in the field of politics and the economy and to disseminate information about them. The research center is not formally appointed, but Hannes Hólmsteinn Gissurarson is its director.
