The DATICE repository
The DATICE repository provides open access to various data sets which can be retrieved and used free of charge, provided it is for non-profit purposes.
The DATICE Dataverse
DATICE uses the internationally recognized repository system, Dataverse, developed by Harvard University.
In the DATICE Dataverse repository you can:
- download data files in the form of SPSS files, Tab-Delimited or Rdata files
- view standardized metadata which describes important elements of the data
- download documentation files (e.g., information about the study method and sample, codebooks and questionnaires)
The Nesstar repository
Some of DATICE's datasets are also accessible through the SSRI Nesstar respository where you can view descriptive statistics for the data and conduct analysis online.
The Nesstar repository for example includes data from the Icelandic National Election Study (ICENES) which is an extensive long-term survey dating back to 1983.
